ICAI has released the official CA exam timetable for January 2026. May 2026 dates will be notified separately.
Important Update: From May 2026 onwards, CA Final examinations will be conducted TWICE a year — in May and November only (September session discontinued). CA Foundation and CA Inter schedules remain unchanged.

CA Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria

📗 CA Foundation 2026
- Passed or appeared in Class 12th from a recognised board
- Completed minimum 4 months study period after ICAI registration
- Registered with ICAI Board of Studies before the deadline
- Provisional registration allowed for Class 10 passed students awaiting Class 12 results
📘 CA Inter 2026
- Foundation Route: Must have passed CA Foundation exam
- Direct Entry – Commerce: Graduation/PG with ≥55% marks
- Direct Entry – Non-Commerce: Graduation/PG with ≥60% marks
- Passed ICSI / ICMAI Intermediate exam (eligible for direct entry)
🏆 CA Final 2026
- Cleared both groups of CA Intermediate
- Articleship completed by Dec 31, 2025 OR in final 6 months
- Completed AICITSS (Advanced IT & Soft Skills)
- Cleared all Self-Paced Online Module (SPOM) tests

How to Apply for CA Exam 2026
Apply online through the ICAI self-service portal in 4 simple steps.
Visit ICAI Portal
Go to eservices.icai.org and log in with your Student ID and password.
Fill Online Form
Select your exam level, group preference, centre city, and exam medium (English/Hindi).
Pay the Fees
Pay exam fees online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking before the last date.
Download Admit Card
Download and print your ICAI CA exam admit card 2026 from the ICAI portal before the exam.
CA Final Exam 2026 – New Schedule (Twice a Year)
ICAI has made a landmark change to the CA Final exam frequency.
The Council of ICAI has officially decided that CA Final Examinations will be conducted TWICE a year — in May and November — with effect from the May 2026 examination onwards. The current three-times-a-year pattern (January, May, September) will be discontinued for CA Final students.
This change was made based on stakeholder feedback and is aimed at giving CA Final students more focused preparation time. CA Foundation and CA Inter examination schedules are not affected by this change and will continue as notified.
